This area of our research and consulting activities focuses on the changing communication structures and the development of potential to innovate due to new information technologies.

The solid analysis of technological and social trends, the derived political and regulatory scope of action, and market potential and possible applications are used to support the company as well as the political and regulatory decision-making process. Examples for our research work in this area are the systematic monitoring of technological, structural and demographic developments as well as the identification of market potential and services in the course of market analyses and forecasts.

Furthermore, our research work focuses on the analyses of success factors for the diffusion and application of new telecommunication technologies. For these analyses, the focal point is to elaborate on and implement application concepts. Our research and development supports strategic management with a solid conception and evaluation of pilot projects. Carefully designed empirical surveys, as well as interdisciplinary methods by which the effects of technological development are systematically determined and evaluated, make it possible to assess the implications of new communication technologies for companies as well as societal trends. A central aim of our research in this area is to transfer knowledge and to point out alternative relevant political and legal measures.
