SUBSTANTIVE ISSUES FOR REVIEW IN THE AREAS OF MARKET ENTRY, MANAGEMENT OF SCARCE RESOURCES AND GENERAL END-USER ISSUES
WIK-Consult organised stakeholder workshop on 2 May 2016 in Brussels on the Review of the EU Electronic Communications Regulatory Framework and discussed feedback from stakeholders on the interim findings of the study for the European Commission
The stakeholder workshop took place as a part of a study carried out by WIK-Consult together with Cullen International and CRIDS (University of Namur) for the European Commission ("Substantive issues for review in the areas of market entry, management of scarce resources and general end-user issues").
The study will contribute evidence and analytical insights to the ongoing review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications regarding provisions in the following domains:
- authorization of market entry,
- access and management of rights to use frequencies,
- access and management of rights to use numbers,
- access to rights of way,
- general end-user rights and
- must carry of broadcast channels.
