On February 2008, the European Commission has published the results of the study “The Future of IP Interconnection: Technical, Economic and Public Policy Aspects”.
This study attempted to assess the likely evolution of interconnection arrangements, not only in the Internet, but also in fixed and mobile networks as they evolve to IP-based Next Generation Networks (NGNs).
WIK-Consult organized a public workshop in Brussels on 11 March 2008 to present the final result.
