Sonja Thiele, Senior Economist at WIK, presented at this year’s Conference on Postal and Delivery Economics her paper on ‘The impact of competition on consumer prices for cross-border parcels’. In light of the draft regulation on international parcel prices, the presentation discusses parcel price developments in the context of increasing e-commerce and competition on parcel markets. The conference took place in Barcelona at 24th to 27th May. Postal market experts discussed regulatory issues and market developments on worldwide postal markets for the 25th time.
