Train-the-Trainer | Sharing Data, Retaining Control
Strengthen your competencies for a connected industry
Online on 13 & 20 May 2026 and 10 & 17 June 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00
Held in German
Would you like to inform and support small and medium-sized enterprises on their journey towards data ecosystems? Together with the DIHK Service GmbH, Niedersachsen.next and other partners, WIK is offering a Train-the-Trainer programme as part of the SCALE-MX project to train business associations, economic development agencies and chambers on this important topic. Gain a comprehensive understanding of industrial data ecosystems to enhance your work with companies and to support them effectively in their transformation towards a connected industry.
What to expect from the Train-the-Trainer programme:
- 4 free, interactive online modules + 1 in-person module
- Foundational knowledge on data ecosystems and their benefits for companies
- Insights into selected practical examples from businesses and X-projects
- Vendor-neutral content developed by experts from the SCALE-MX initiative
- Guidance and materials (e.g. checklists, presentation slides) for use in your own transfer activities
- Exchange and networking opportunities with experts and other multipliers
The programme covers all key aspects of industrial data ecosystems across several modules. It addresses both fundamental topics – such as what data ecosystems are and why they are relevant for companies – and advanced subjects, including practical use cases, interplay with AI solutions, data space readiness, and concrete steps for companies. You are welcome to register for individual modules or the full programme. Participation is free of charge, as costs are covered by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Find all information about the individual modules and register here.
This Train-the-Trainer programme is conducted by SCALE-MX. SCALE-MX is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is a joint initiative of VDMA, ZVEI, Niedersachsen.NXT, Bayern Innovativ, DIHK Service GmbH and WIK.
