The webinar is aimed in particular at researchers, employees of ministries, authorities, and associations, as well as other interested parties who would like to gain a deeper understanding of the social, economic, and political dimensions of AI. The aim is to present key findings in a concise manner, provide an opportunity for questions, and stimulate further debate.
The following studies will be presented:
- Artificial intelligence in an EU comparison: influencing factors and potential: The study analyzes why Northern European countries and the Benelux countries are leading the way in AI implementation, while Germany remains in the European midfield. Quantitative analyses and qualitative comparisons reveal structural differences in education, the labor market, and digital infrastructure – and show starting points for Germany.
- Perception of risk factors associated with artificial intelligence in German companies: The study examines which risk factors listed companies in the DAX index family address in their annual reports in connection with AI. It thus investigates how risk factors are perceived in German companies.
- Implementation of the AI Regulation using medical robotics as an example: The study examines the regulatory framework for the various fields of application of medical robotics, its market development, and the potential of AI. The aim is to use this example to highlight the challenges companies face in implementing the AI Regulation and to derive possible solutions.
