Digitisation affects postal markets in the Netherlands more than in other countries, and presents major challenges for PostNL and postal competition in the Netherlands. In this study commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, WIK-Consult analyses the Dutch postal market today, identifies future scenarios until 2025, and give recommendations for future postal policy.
The report was presented to the Dutch Parliament on 23 December 2016, along with a letter by the Minister setting out its future agenda for postal policy.
