The study "European and global trends in the development of FTTB/H networks - significance for Germany" highlights the need for an expansion of fiber optic infrastructure in Germany from a macroeconomic perspective, since Germany lags far behind the other leading industrial nations in the dissemination of FTTB/H connections. The study reveals not only the reasons for the development in Germany, but also provides best practice examples from abroad in a visual way.
