WIK contributes to the Commission’s consultation on costing methodologies for key wholesale access products issued on 3 October 2011

The EU Commission intends to issue a Recommendation on costing methodologies for key wholesale access products in 2012. For that purpose the Commission has conducted a consultation on that subject matter where the Commission has addressed major conceptional ideas and questions for comments to market participants.

The consultation (published on 3 October 2011) has addressed many topics which WIK has brought to the table in its pioneering study on "Wholesale pricing, NGA take-up and competition" and which WIK has conducted on behalf of ECTA.

To further extending the concept and ideas WIK has contributed to the Commission’s consultation with a comprehensive study which does not only address the Commission’s questions but also significantly contributes on the theoretical background on costing and incentive pricing.

WIK’s contribution has been written by Werner Neu, Karl-Heinz Neumann and Ingo Vogelsang and, is published under "Cost Methodologies and Pricing Schemes to Support the Transition to NGA".
